Rainbow Warrior leaves the bay

I was Johnny on the spot today – pure chance had me in the Booderie National Park with camera in hand,  and was lucky enough to catch the Rainbow Warrior leaving the bay.
The vessel has been anchored near Honeymoon Bay for some days now and today the winds were a brisk offshore westerly, the roll of the ocean had calmed down,  it was a good day for sailing.
The photo shows her passing under Point Perpendicular,  sails set as she headed north towards Sydney.
See previous post with video.

IMG_8965a shooting into the morning glare and reflections without a polarising filter wasn’t the ideal.
