Noisy neighbors
Following on from a previous post, I don’t know what it’s like at your place but the noise from these amazing bugs is deafening around here, it’s almost unbearable at times.
Yesterday the noise was so bad it actually hurt your ears, I guess no surprise when you consider they have one of the loudest calls of any creature and can number over a million an acre.

I took these photo’s yesterday of another one emerging from it’s exoskeleton to eventually fly off and join the chorus.
They really are an amazing little creature despite being so noisy a neighbor.
